MARCHING BAND FEES Band fees for the fall Marching Band 2011/2012 season will be $1000.00 per student. These fees are extremely low when compared with band programs of similar performance level. Band fees are due at the beginning of the marching season. The following payment schedule has been approved to aid in your planning. September 2, 2011 $500.00 band fair share 1st payment. November 2, 2011 $500.00 band fair share 2nd payment. (Volunteer hours will be credited to students accounts for second payment). All Rays hours will be credited at this time if it hasn't been already . EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE FEE Students who require the use of school owned instruments or equipment will need to pay an additional $35.00 instrument maintenance fee for each semester. Such equipment includes school owned instruments, ( percussion, tubas, baritones, mellophones, bass clarinets, bari or tenor sax, Guard equipment, french horns, etc). Due by September 1st, 2011 for Fall and March 8th, 2012 for Spring. INDIVIDUAL COSTS Fundraising monies may not be used for these items since they belong to the student. Payment for the following items are due at Band Camp. All orders will be placed at Band Camp. $35.00 Band Practice Uniform $25.00 Rolled-heel marching shoes $70.00 Travel Uniform ( this is the wind suit that consists of pants and jacket) COLOR GUARD Color Guard members will purchase their own special type of shoes, marching uniforms, and carry on bag. These will be ordered the week of Band Camp. Payment for these items is due at Band Camp. CONCERT BAND Second semester participation in a concert organization requires a TBA concert band fair share due March1, 2012. In addition, concert attire must be purchased by band members. WINTER GUARD Winter guard fees will be determined depending on the cost of the Dayton trip plus the actual cost of the uniform. The first payment is due by Jan. 6th, 2012, and the second payment is due prior to the first competition.
